Dion Friedland – Chairman

Dion Friedland became a major investor in Radical Waters in early 2004 and has since acquired majority control. He now controls the holding company Radical Waters International Ltd. His extensive global contacts are leveraged to facilitate the marketing and utilization of Radical Waters ECA devices throughout the world.

David R. Friedland – Managing Director

David R. Friedland was appointed as Managing Director of Radical Waters (Pty) Limited in April 2016. David has been involved with Radical Waters on a daily basis since 2009 as both a director of Radical Waters (Pty) Limited and as a consultant to Radical Waters (UK) LLP.  David received a BBA in Finance cum laude in 1993 and a JD (law degree) magna cum laude from the University of Miami in 1996, and is a member of the Florida Bar.

Michael Segal – Group CEO

Michael was appointed Global Head of Operations in 2026 and brings to Radical Waters extensive experience in business restructuring, operational turnaround, and strategic leadership.

He holds qualifications in Insolvency Law, Labour Law, and Commercial Law and is a member of the South African Restructuring and Insolvency Practitioners Association (SARIPA), who conferred the designation of Business Rescue Practitioner (BRP) and Business Restructuring Professional. He is also a member in good standing with The International Association of Restructuring & Insolvency Professionals (INSOL). Michael has been an Appraiser to the Master of the High Court of South Africa since 2012.

The Group actively seeks and adds distributors as part of its international growth strategy.
